Photographer, Model, Actor, Zachary Kemper is a bonafide triple threat, The 22 year old Santa Clarita native has been a fixture on my personal Instagram feed for years. After going to a performing art school in downtown L.A. and a short stint living and working in New York, Zach came back to Los Angeles and has hit the ground running ever since. Starring in Short films Such as Brandon Zucks, ' A Song For Your Mixtape' as well as modeling for Photographers and artist, Zach has recently transitioned his talents for From in front of the camera to behind it as an amazing photographer. He's been shooting the pretty boys and girls of LA lately crating beautiful photographs that i can't help but double tap every time one comes across my feed. Zach is someone to keep your eye on, A true artist with many talents, letting the light of his personality and camera engulf every person who follows him.

00-4:26 -Deadmau5- Waking Up From The American Dream/ Motives & Thoughts, Spoken Word - Lauryn Hill- Starting This Mix Out with a dash of beauty and knowledge i mixed the Spoken Words of Lauryn Hill's Poem 'Motives and Thoughts' performed at Def Poetry Jam, With Deadmau5's Waking Up From The American Dream from one of his earlier EP's. When I Asked What song Zach found most beautiful he responded with 'Waking up From The American Dream" saying " Its ethereal and reminds me of a ballet'. I chose to layer it with this powerful spoken word based around the concept that society has forced us to think a certain way filling our head with ' How to's" and 'Be this way' with Ms. Hill Urging us to take a step back, Think for yourself, Be different, and be yourself. When asked what people may think of his art Zach appropriatly responded with  "I really don't care what people think of me or what I post. If you love it I love you and I'm so happy you relate. If you hate it unfollow. I don't have time!" Motives and Thoughts to just be yourself.

4:27-8:05- SZA- Love Galore- One of the new artist currently in Rotation for Zach. Break Out Star SZA's 'Love Galore' from her debut album CTRL mixes her smooth sexy voice with R&B and verses from Travis Scott sounds like a love song but if you listen carefully you'll soon figure out its a song about looking for love in someone that you've already lost. SZA singing " I said farewell, you took it well, Promise I won't cry over spilled milk,Gimme a paper towel, gimme another Valium Gimme another hour or two, hour with you" believing that all you need is love to make a relationship work, and realizing it takes a little more than just that to do so.

8:06-11:40- London Grammar- Wrecking Ball (Miley Cyrus Cover) Live in the BBC Live Lounge-  One of Zach's Favorite albums is Miley Cyrus's Bangerz. The transitional record for Miley its full of well bangers from start to finish. Choosing this gorgeous cover of her Single Wrecking Ball by London Grammar to highlight the beauty in Londons Voice as well as the beauty and heartbreak in Miley's lyrics. Dealing with a Recent heartbreak at the moment of making this mix i felt this rendition would hit a little deeper.

11:40- !5:40- Lorde/Disclosure- Magnets (SG Lewis Remix)- Directly after finishing this mix Zach had let me know about his recent breakup with his long time Boyfriend. Prior to this information i had included this remixed version of Disclosures Magnets as a nod to their relationship. Debating if i should cut it out i decided to keep it in. In a Mix made to highlight his life, heartbreak is something we all feel, Hoping this song will remind him of the good times they shared, and later will be a song to smile about instead of cry over, This remix slows down the original a nod to remember to slow down and appreciate the moments you shared with someone both good and bad.

 15:41-18:23 -Odezsa- Boy- When asked what song would be playing in his soul. Zach answered with " Boy by Odesza, it's my soul through and through. Can't describe it other than I knew that was the song to answer this question with." a song full of vibrancy and light its no surprise this is what Zach Feels pumping through his heart.

18:23-22:29-  M83- Lazer Gun- A song thats meaning lays in the Lyrics, This fun uplifting song from M83's 'Junk" Album reminded me of Zach's story, his lust for life and light and the fun spirit he possesses. With Mai Lan Singing phrases like " I feel strong and smart, ready for a new start" and "So let's go and get it Everything we've been dreaming, So lets go and get it everything we've been missing, All you can do is keep dreaming
It's up to you, the meaning" Its an inspirational song about going out and achieving anything you put your mind to, After dealing with depression and going to rehab for self harm. Zach came back full of life and ready to conquer his demons. This song represent that, leaving the past behind and putting your mind to the ultimate test to create and live your life to the fullest.

22:30-24:25- Willow- F Q-C #7- First single from Willow shaking her "whip my hair' persona and coming into adulthood this song embodies youth and growth. Zach being only 22 i found the playfulness and wisdom of willows lyrics to echo that same feeling of stradling the edge of adulthood, while holding onto his fleeting youth. This song is vibrant and fun just like Kemper himself.

24:26-28:41-Miley Cyrus- Miss You So Much- Another current favorite song from one of his Favorite artist, Miss You So Much from Miley's latest Album 'Younger Now' is his pick off the new album. Again placed in this mix before his recent heartbreak I'm sure this current favorite has taken a new meaning in his life. But like Miley taking her longing and heart ache and turning it into a beautiful ballad, I can see Zach taking on the challenge of missing someone so much and turning it into something beautiful to grace our eyes.

28:41-30:31-Mumford And Sons- Reminder (live)- ailing from one of his favorite albums of all time Mumford and Sons 'Bable' Reminder finds a special place in his heart, stating  "I think the story telling in the lyrics is so beautiful I really connect with it." Making this short but incredibly sweet song a go to in his life. Reminder is just that.. A reminder of the beauty in life.

30:32- End- Teenagers (My Chemical Romance Cover)- One of his favorite bands from his teenage years and also a band he wished he had the pleasure of experiencing live. I chose this ukulele cover from Vloggy Ollie to end this mix on a sweet note of nostalgia for Zach. Something to connect his upbringing and all the hurdles he's jumped over to where he is now. An Artist through and Through i hope this mix was a look into his life, A side we may not have got to know through his beautiful imagery alone.
